The repartition

When are you a rightful claimant of Dutch reader fees?
The reader fees are distributed amongst the Dutch and foreign publishers from which copyright protected material has been copied in readers. Which publishers this concerns is evident from:
title specific registration
requests for approval
market research
control of evidence.

The foreign reproductions can mainly be found in readers distributed by universities; this mainly concerns scientific information. Most of the fees collected by IPRO therefore belong to publishers in English speaking areas.

The repartition
PRO pays the fees collected for copying information from foreign publications to IPRO.
IPRO will subsequently pay the fees to STM.
STM is responsible for paying the relevant Reproduction Rights Organisations: CCC, CLA, CFC and VG Wort. Please contact STM with any further questions regarding the distribution of fees.
